Two passive channels for instruments and live/studio rigs
DIP is a two-channel passive Direct Box for bass, guitar, synths and setups that need a balanced XLR feed while retaining an amplifier in the signal path through THRU when required. The two channels are independent and provide a -20 dB Pad and Ground Lift.
Level control and routing
The -20 dB Pad allows higher-level sources to be managed, with a declared maximum input level of +22 dBu with Pad OFF and +42 dBu with the Pad engaged. Ground Lift can disconnect the XLR output ground connection when required.
Passive topology
DIP requires no power supply. The custom transformer and integrated EMI/RFI filter are part of the product architecture.
Who it is for
For musicians, producers and engineers who need to handle two instruments or a stereo source through two independent passive DI paths while retaining the option to use THRU.
