A compact active DI for instruments

DIAM is a mono active Direct Box for connecting an instrument to a mixer, stagebox or audio interface. The IN and THRU connections keep an amplifier in the signal path while the balanced isolated XLR output sends the signal to the audio system.

-20 dB Pad and practical routing

The -20 dB Pad attenuates higher-level sources. The signal path uses a custom active circuit with Class-A buffer and a custom transformer.

48 V phantom power

DIAM is powered by 48 V phantom power via XLR3M and requires no external power supply. The front-panel LED indicates the presence of power.
